KRAV
MAGA

Have you always wanted to learn how to defend yourself should someone attack you? Now is the time!

Self-defense training should be a necessity! Krav Maga is the most practical and easy to learn system. It uses your natural reactions to threats and gives you the technique to stop the immediate threat and fight your way out of situation. You do not need to be the most athletic person to learn this system. You’ll feel safer from the first time you leave the class.

Check out this video from one of Mark's classes.

When are your classes?

Classes are currently Wednesdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 10:00am.

Meet the instructor:

Mark Salvador

Mark is a level IV Krav Maga instructor. He has been training in Krav Maga under James Hiromasa through Krav Maga Alliance for 10 years and teaching for 8 years. Teaching Krav is one of his favorite things and his passion shines through each and every class. He takes extreme pride in making the classes fun and exciting.

What can I expect?

Each class begins with a warm-up to get your blood flowing. Don’t worry if it’s been a while since you worked out, you will be able to take breaks when you need them. You’ll then work through 2-3 combatives. These can be straight punches, hammer fists, palm heel strikes, elbows, knees and kicks. The next part of the class will be working on the self-defense technique. You will learn to defend yourself from someone grabbing your wrist, hair or entire body, someone choking you, putting you in a headlock, and someone getting you on the ground.

What equipment/gear do I need?

For clothing, you just need to wear your usual workout clothes and tennis/running shoes. We recommend a pair of MMA gloves to wear while hitting pads initially until your hands toughen up. You can get a pair of these at any sporting goods store for about $30. These are the ones where your fingers are exposed. They should fit snugly but not too tight and have some padding or gel over the knuckles.

What age do kids need to be?

Most kids are able to fully participate and engage starting around 14. Exceptions can be made for as young as 12 years old but will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Are you affiliated with Colorado Krav Maga?

We are loosely associated with COKM. As mentioned above Mark had the privilege of training under COKM founder James Hiromasa for 8 years.

How much does it cost?

We offer a monthly unlimited option which includes Krav Maga and our other fitness classes for $89/ month. You can also do a punch pass which run 5/$75, 10/$120, 15/$165 or 20/$200. These can be used for both Krav Maga and the fitness classes and do not expire.

Can I use my membership from COKM here and vice versa?

No, unfortunately you are not able to use membership from one place to the other.
